"Played this earlier this morning and loved it..." - Sid Smith
It’s hard to make ambient music without coming back to Eno and on this piece I’ve not even tried. I’ve taken his techniques and applied them in my own way to my own sounds.
This recording is just short of an hour taken from an effectively infinite piece (which is just one of a family depending on my settings of knobs and dials)
The original inspiration was sitting in my back garden watching the stars come out and planes on the last leg of their journey from America streaking their contrails, illuminated by the setting sun, across the blue black sky.
